The debut album title is ‘Jupiter’ and has been inspired by the likes of such greats as Ray Charles, Al Green and Marvin Gaye. 'Jupiter' combines the vocal styling of 60’s soul with the melodic smoothness of 70’s guitar this along with Foster Ray’s voice has created this unique and original sound.

Biography

Foster Ray, a 21 year old singer/songwriter from London.

The debut album title is ‘Jupiter’ and it has combined the vocal styling of 60’s soul with the melodic smoothness of 70’s guitar this along side with Foster Ray’s voice has created this unique and original sound.

Through the album Foster Ray has covered all manor of emotions and scenarios ranging from the anguish of heartbreak felt in 'Cant Deny it' to his up beat look on life in 'Move around'.

The album’s preview track is ‘Quicksand’.

Quicksand, written by Foster Ray depicts the struggles faced by a close friend who at the time was finding it very difficult to open up to the people around him. The track is split in two parts with two completely different feels, the change in tempo and time signature in the middle of the song gives the track a whole new dimention and brilliantly symbolises the release of pressure once the truth is finally told.
