Los Angeles based rock band Foul Play offers a fresh take on modern music. Foul Play music encourages the belief that Life is Foul, so you better Play > Now.
Influences: standard blues, classic rock, punk rock, reggae, jazz, country, soul, and modern day pop.
Witty, blunt, testosterone-infused, rough lyrics wrapped in sincerity and heart, one can not help relating to, sympathizing with, or despising (if you're easily offended) the "Sam Man" and his songs, that so urgently vent life's absurd situations, especially relating to relationships and working mans woes.
The line-up consists of 30-something LA session musicians determined to out-rock the younger generation, fronted by the face-contorting human cartoon character Sam Man who may cut your clothes off with his feet because his toe nail is a razor.
Like life, it's absurd, it's great, sometimes foul, and always playful...Foul Play
