Bio
Foundation's sound comes from the worldwide span of influences found in its members. Originally from Philadelphia, Serious de Witness has recorded in Jamaica with numerous reggae and dancehall artists and producers. Coming from Zimbabwe, Zion Lion has been a worldwide touring musician and collaborator with African music legend Thomas Mapfumo for over 15 years. Parker Koehn, an Oregon original, is a terrific reggae drummer influenced by hip-hop and springs from a thorough Jazz background. Raised in California, Red / X has lived and worked in New York City and has toured and recorded extensively. D'Carlo brings gospel influences from his ongoing involvement in church choirs and The University of Oregon choir. Victoria & Melia add to the eclectic sound with their sweet melodies and rhythmic moves.
