Four Dead in Five Seconds, TX

The name Four Dead in Five Seconds, TX comes from a historic old west style gunfight which took place on El Paso street in El Paso, TX in 1881.
Residing in El Paso, we are five guys with day jobs who still love to make music and have a great time doing it. All of us collectively have played almost every genre of music there is in various bands over the last 25 years or so.
Four Dead in Five Seconds came about after Greg Cropp and Clay Fiske lost their guitarist in the Greg Cropp Band which was a country cover band. At that point, we decided that we would like to try originals and get back to work with Greg Galbraith who had also played with Greg Cropp in Texas Alibi. Greg G. had a lot of experience in the song writing arena. Now the hunt was on for a 2nd guitarist and drummer. Mark Czacky came into the picture as he and Galbraith were friends. Mark was a phenomenal guitarist with some songwriting skills as well.
We started out with a drummer who was a co-worker of Galbraith's playing for months in Mark's living room to an audience of three dogs. After parting ways with our first drummer, Clay brought in a rock climbing buddy; Glen Kelly who had shown some interest. After showing up to practice with a 5 piece kit, we knew Glen was our guy. We had our first gig three weeks later and have been plucking along since.
While it might be hard to give up our day jobs, the dream of playing music professionally has never left our hearts and soulds. We want to continue to work on our songwriting skills, harmonizing vocals and overall sound and play to as many people as possible in as many different venues and environments.
