Bio

Fourteen Twentysix was started in 2006 as a solo project by multi-instrumentalist Chris van der Linden. He quit playing drums with his previous band Sweet Assembler to pursue his personal music career.

The first ep Songs to Forget (2008) was met with positive reviews and comparissons to Chroma Key, Anathema, Pink Floyd and David Sylvian. The ep was downloaded over 15.000 times from the band's website and other free internet channels.

After releasing an experimental remix ep titled Chromatic (2009), Fourteen Twentysix returned with their first full length album called Lighttown Closure in 2010. The album, mostly written by Chris to reflect on his troubled past and experiences in Eindhoven (lighttown), his now permanent live band members also contributed to the writing and recording process. Lighttown Closure received positive reviews and was downloaded over 17.000 times through netlabel Mine All Mine! Records and other internet channels.

Currently the band is writing and recording a new album and continues to play visually stunning live shows in venue's across Europe.
