We're gonna sing songs about not having sex and sitting under a tree in the park and cover an M.I.A song ALL WHILE making you sway and snap and maybe even dance but definitely get lost in what we're playing- not in a bad way or anything, you'll be lost but you'll never be more aware of where you are

Biography

Foxbaby got its start playing shows around a university campus, but is currently playing shows around a university campus, and is glad to say that the band's next show will probably be around a university campus. We're all very musically ambitious, but the dignity of the den is also very important to us. Our songs fall into the often-neglected region of musical genres—somewhere between Prince and Joni Mitchell. It's there that we sit comfortably and make music with a sound that we hope you find to be new and interesting, but really comfortable, too.

We have a very loyal fan base—a foxcult, if you will. We're also well aware that our children will make fun of us when we tell them that we used to be in a band called Foxbaby. This doesn't bother us, most of the time. We love making music, putting it in a nicely wrapped package, and giving it to the people who least expect it.

"...and all the while we'll be making you sway and snap and maybe even dance a little, but definitely get lost in what we're playing. Not in a bad way or anything--you'll be lost, but you'll never be more aware of where you are."

Set List

Our sets are usually about 30 minutes in length, unless we're asked to play a longer show. In this case, we come up with a few covers just for the occasion. Our core set is listed below.

1. Janelle
2. The Secret to Success
3. Clumsy (Cover)
4. In the Park
5. Paper Planes (Cover)
6. Bid Adieu

The covers we choose are on the opposite end of the genre spectrum. We usually choose popular r&b or soul songs.
