FoxtroT

Foxtrot comes to birth in the late 2004; Xavier, Francois and Danny found a way to show their talents in music.

Grown up in the center of Mexico, influenced by british and U.S. bands, Foxtrot's creations attracted fans along the first year of presentations. Their first two demos participated in an international contest supported by Billboard and obtained a favorable result from the judges (the two songs were qualified based on their marketable force for the radio).

The band soon recorded more demos at the same time they acquired more experience in the scene. By 2005 they had played in most of the main clubs in the city and they were interviewed frequently by the two most important newspapers. By the end of that year, their fans were all over the country and their talent soon was rewarded with three awards in Mexico and one in Spain.

Foxtrot interprets original songs with a unique style and it is considerate as “Rock Pop”, their lyrics are written in English; influenced by bands like U2, Foo Fighters and Oasis among others.

By 2006, after participating in state music festivals, national viewed support concerts and many local presentations, the band has won a reputation in the audience and the admiration of many loyal fans. The band themselves are consistent with their main and only goal: To see their work reach the international market. By 2007 they perform their first international gigs on music festivals in USA and Canada.

The demo-CD “Shine” includes 4 songs: “Desire, “Any time you look at me”, “Broken” & “Trust”. Those are Anglo-Saxon rhythms with lyrics reflecting youth-troubling topics.

The material was post-produced and mastered in New Jersey, US.

The demo-CD is sold online and in the band gigs. FoxtroT is doing a promotional tour throughout different clubs, schools, venues and universities within Mexico.

Their dedication, vision and dreams, encourages them to work harder even, and to grow as a rock band as well as individuals in the music business.
