Frege is a fragmented-pop band based in Brooklyn, NY and formed in Mexico City in 2014 when drummer Victor De La Garza, former jazz teacher and multi-stylistic musician, wandered for new musical partners as well as new musical expressiveness. He joined forces with his longtime friend, producer/composer and visual artist, Rafael Durand.

It all later became a search for precision and ascendance towards something new, which differed from what they both were doing in previous projects. It wasn’t until 2015 when they decided it was time to straighten up and recruit other professional band members. Lucky they were to find Daniel Ávila, a young and outstanding Mexico-City-born producer/composer based in Brooklyn and Juan Robles-Gil,  a multi-instrumentalist singer and music-therapist based in Manhattan. 

Since then, the four band members have developed a strong chemistry and merged their creative experiences to shape the sound and concept behind Frege. 

Frege is releasing a new EP recorded and mixed at legendary Terminus recording studios by Frege themselves. 

Frege had played live at well-known venues such as Manhattan’s Webster Hall, Rockwood Music Hall; Brooklyn’s Paper box; Mexico City’s Vive Cuervo Salón and more.
