"It´s about music ideal for the instrumental hard rock lover in the style of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani. Espina is a virtuoso guitar player who, along his ten tracks, shows how it should be played an electric guitar. Not falling in the temptation of endless phrases and long-boring solos, he give us an album full of energy with precise-doses of shred.Songs like “Preciosa”, “Adrenalina”,” La Balada del Hipnoperro” and “Contra las Cuerdas”, song which opens an album that is perfect for a rock-filled road trip.”

Bio

Francisco Espina is a musician and a producer born in Santiago de Chile, in his early ages he moved with his parents to Guayaquil – Ecuador, a country that now he calls home. At the age of 12 he decided with no doubt about it that his musical instrument would be the electric guitar, after many years of self-teaching, now a day he decides to share his experiences through the best way that he knows: Rocking!

His style is the result of musical influences clearly marked by the guitar “gods” (Satriani, Hendrix, Van Halen, Vai, etc, etc, etc) his music is the result of his own experiences, tendencies and ideologies, also naming influences by Andy Kaufman, John Hughes and Stan Lee. His compositions are intense, sometimes dramatic, and sometimes a bit ridiculous like “Zappa” or sometimes with Hendrix ecstasy.

Songs like “Save the Robots” are results of the fusion between electric guitars and modern digital sounds, “Adrenalina” is a song charged with emotions, meanwhile “Preciosa” is a rock ballad and it’s name says it all “Precious” and these are only a few oh the song that are included in his first solo album released on November 2012 as a free online download album. Since then, "Francho" has played in almost all the cities of Ecuador and has shared stage with important national and foreign artists such as Luis Rueda, Diego Miño, Nata Cassette (with whom opened for the Mexican band Pxndx in 2014), Metro Blues among many others and has toured as a soloist with artists such as Pablo Soler (Arg) and Tom Abella (Col). In addition to his solo career, Francho works as music producer, session guitarist and has given clinics as image and product specialist for international brands such as Fender, Jackson and Daddario, as well as having included his music in commercials for brands like Doritos and films Like "Sexy Montañita". Francho has also been an image of brands like Puma Clothing for Ecuador.
