"Earmilk x Francis Aud"

Playful percussions and a deep resounding bass line lay a rich funky foundation for "Take Me Home" right out the gate. From there, a whirlwind of rich synth work and catchy claps help send Aud's romantic vocal delivery crying out to a hopeful lover. The blend of jazzy instrumentation, funky melodies, and shimmering electro-R&B creates an infectious aura of warm retro sounds. The versatility demonstrated in "Take Me Home" celebrates Aud's unique songwriting capability for creating something that's relentlessly passionate and energetic but full of soul. His 'FONKY MUSIC' (as Aud describes it) fills the room as much as it fills the heart.

After releasing his debut EP Tender Things in July 2017, Francis Aud began to move away from his retro-soul beginnings and started writing and releasing music that he likes to call, “FONK™ MUSIC.” From 2018 to the present, he has released a slew of FONKY™ singles in preparation for his next large release. - Earmilk

Bio

Imagine if Bruno Mars had a baby with Allen Stone. Then, imagine that baby’s nanny was Al Green and growing up he listened exclusively to Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, and Parcels. And finally, imagine that baby also had a killer voice, was a fantastic songwriter, had great stage presence, made way too many dad jokes, and was the most humble person you've ever met (irony) and BOOM. Then you'd have New York City born, raised, and based songwriter and bandleader, Francis Aud.

Francis Aud writes his own cheeky, quirky, and patent pending blend of funk and pop (which he affectionately calls 'f0nk' music) which you can hear him performing live alongside his 7-piece band.

All you've gotta know is that he's great with moms and he's always down to get f0nky, so come to dance or don't come at all.
