The best kept secret in music

"Here's what leading industry analysts are saying about FB&A:"

"This nerdy looking, middle-aged, gimmick-loving group of stuffed shirts could be the next hip pop group. Okay, I know the corporate shtick is a gimmick, but it’s a fun gimmick. And the songs are good enough I can recommend both their CD and seeing them live with no reservations. My verdict: Buy and hold."

David De Young, HowWastheShow.Com (September 24, 2005)

“A great gimmick and a pretty good album: A new band called Frank Brownstone & Associates sent me a CD that looks like a stock broker's portfolio and included a "First Annual Report to Investors" as a press release. FB&A is actually led by singer-songwriters Garth Morrisette and Tony Mendoza and features Ben Connelly on guitar. The disc recalls straight-ahead jangle-rock acts such as Tom Petty and "A.M."-era Wilco. The release party is Saturday at the Cabooze....”

Chris Riemenschneider, Minneapolis Star Tribune, (August 18, 2005).

"Just a note to say we've received the new one from FB&A here at 100,000 watt KUMD up in Duluth. We are doing our part to keep your global headquarters here in MN. FB&A is getting 2-3 spins a week within our eclectic format. Good band! Early favs are "Goin' Out West" and "Days of my Life" but we'll be playing much of the disc in the future."

John Ziegler, Program Director, KUMD 100.3, Duluth MN (August 4, 2005).

Debut CD: First Annual Report to Investors. (Foxbury Records, 2005)

Feeling a bit camera shy

Last month, the FB&A Board of Directors voted in a new creative management team to take FB&A in a bold new musical direction. New management is moving the company out of the financial services business and into the business of rock and roll with the release of the Company's debut CD, First Annual Report to Investors. As you surf our brand new web site, we're confident you'll be taken aback by the change happening at Frank Brownstone & Associates.

It seems like only yesterday that our Founder, Frank Brownstone, was peddling bootlegged copies of personal financial software out of his garage in East St. Paul. Who could have imagined that an idea with such humble beginnings would pyramid into an international financial empire? You've probably read the completely baseless and inflammatory news stories about our company lately. Sure, we've experienced some bumps in the road. Now we're pleased to announce exciting changes at Frank Brownstone & Associates.

Now that Mr. Brownstone, or "Pops" as he affectionately became known by his employees, is safely residing in Bermuda; and the government investigations have lost their momentum, it's time for a new generation of leadership to reshape the Frank Brownstone legacy.

Our name may not have changed, but our mission sure has. To learn more about our debut CD, go to
