Lyrics

Big Top Woman

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Couldn’t hang
With what’s under your cover
Friday night
Ill be your daytime lover
Those one pop no stop catholic girls
Make me feel good

Time has come
For everyone to see her
She’ll juggle flame
And watch those lions tease her
Those one pop no stop catholic girls
Make me feel good

Cause she’s a big top woman
Yea she’s my big top woman
She’s a big top, hungry eyed
3 ring circus, lovely surprise

On the road
New York until Virginia
No matter what
This clown will never leave her
Those one pop no stop catholic girls
Make me feel good

Cause she’s a big top woman
Yea she’s my big top woman
She’s a big top woman
Yea she’s my big top woman
We’ll she’s a big top, hungry eyed
3 ring circus, lovely surprise

The Miss Jenny

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Sally and Sam, Sailed of to sea
They raised their flags up high and sung their song of beauty
Up off the shore, blue nights of green
Golden treasure and foggy memories of love

Drink dance sing now,
Life has just begun you know well all be merry
And pray we’ll make it home when
We set sail for sunny skies our love will last forever darling
And that is how their stories told

Prince Paul Pintle was a pirate to be
He drew his sword upon this old and shabby vessel
Tied up their hands, tied up their feet
Walk your plank now this boat belongs to me tonight

Drink dance sing now
Life has just begun you know we’ll all be merry
And pray we’ll make it home when
We set sail for sunny skies our love will last forever darling
And that is how this stories told

Life is funny but you try to get by
Times are changing now for you and I
Death due us part
Right from the start
A candles burning but the fire’s out
Come on baby time to twist and shout
We’ll meet again
Closer to the end

Waiting For Someone

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Like a break from the sun
Like a stroll in the park
Your smile opened one thousand doors
With the key to my heart
Like a river that flows
Like a breath of fresh air
They way you talk when we’re all alone
Soft and calm like a prayer

Hold me so close
I know I could be
The lover who could fix your broken heart
Pick it back up
And bring it to me
You know I’ll never let it fall apart

Like a baby that’s born
Like a flower that dies
I see the beauty in everything
When I look in your eyes
You’ll be singing along
You’ll be painting a dream
Tell a story to pass the time
Oh, what a wonderful scene

You shouldn’t worry about it now
Just close your eyes and let it go
It couldn’t be any easier
But now the meters running low

On The Road

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Been working all day
Walking through my front door and you take it away
All my pain
When blue turns to black
You showed me the light now ill never turn back
Cause you know I cant be alone
With all this pain

Woo hoo, your singing a song
Woo hoo, I’m singing along
Cause your always gonna be my girl
Woo hoo, you’re spinning around
Woo hoo, I’m down on the ground
Cause your always gonna be my girl
Yea your always gonna be my girl

Are you home, there’s no one here we’re all alone
Although I try, your eyes are my grey sky
I really ought to
Tell you bout
How things have changed day in day out
Your face is dry, its time to say goodbye
I really ought to go

Take me back to Georgia
Cause I know you can
Take me back to heaven
Cause I know that you can

Take you for a walk lets go to the beach
Marriage and a baby not out of our reach
You’re saying we’re young and moneys to tight
So Anna don’t forget to write

Send in the tanks
Send in the clowns
You know it’s over honey
Just sing out loud

On the road
Travel with the big top
I don’t know if
We’ll be fine
If sally’s sailing off this time
Everybody’s dreaming of a place to
Run and hide
Finding other work
But baby I don’t mind
Lets Pack these bags
With sample soap and circus mags
I think we ought to go…

You know we shouldn’t have to die
So many feelings left inside to hide,
But ill be holding my head up high
So many pages left unturned
So many lessons left unlearned tonight but ill be holding my head up high

Oh Gloria

Written By: Frank Ciampi

If you spend all your time in his arms
It will truly be over now
So stop your frown
And I’ll say goodbye
Oh Gloria

If you hold on to what you want to
Maybe you’ll figure out in time
You’re the crime
And I’ll say goodbye
Oh Gloria

I never told you how
It was that made my life over time rewind
When you sing
Nah nah nah nah
If only you would give me one more day to try
Oh Gloria

If you ever try to say sorry
Baby you’ll be mistaken of
Your broken love
And I’ll say goodbye oh Gloria

Anna

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Through the hills up to the clouds you’d
See us holding hands
You’d see us writing down our future plans
Looking Back those days are gone it’s
Time to pack and go
It’s time to turn back on your radio

Anna don’t forget to write
Anna dry your crying eyes tonight she said I know

Ringing Bells with long farewells
It’s nice to say goodbye
It’s nice to reminisce ‘bout you and I
Sun goes down the Day is old I’m
All alone again

Anna don’t forget to write
Anna Dry your crying eyes tonight she said I know

Walk along this path I’ve come to
Through the hills and clouds
Through foggy skies the light shines on the crowd
Looking back those days are gone it’s
Time to pack and go
It’s time to turn back on your radio

Anna don’t forget to write
Anna Dry your crying eyes
Anna don’t you see
We were meant to be
Anna don’t you love me?

Anyway

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Every time I hear your voice it’s calling out my name
I hear it in my head at night I cant get through the day

But you know that it’s too late to try
And you know that I cant turn back time

I’m walking out I hear you on your phone
And you’re screaming that I’m on my own
But I know that we will be together Anyway

In the morning we can work it out
Then I’ll show you what loves all about
Cause I know that we will be together anyway

Just forget about what went wrong and things I meant to say
Just forget; about that time and how you feel today

And I Hope it’s not too late to try
And I hope that I can turn—back time—

Lights go out and you’re feeling great
This time you wont hesitate
Cause I know that we will be together anyway

In the morning you can step outside
And tell your friends that we’re quite all right and I know
That we will be together anyway

I’m walking out I hear you on your phone
And you’re screaming that I’m on my own
But I know that we will be together Anyway

In the morning we can work it out
Then I’ll show you what loves all about
Cause I know that we will be together anyway

Along For The Ride

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Got to tighten my grip
Got to not let it slip anymore
Got to rise like the sun
Cause it’s a long way to go
But I’m along for the ride

Stop playing with my toys
Stop smoking so much pot with the boys
Stop wishing there’s an end
Cause it’s a long way to go
But I’m along for the ride
Well it’s a long way to go
Come along
Come along for the ride

Talk through eternity
Take what belongs to me
Its ok

Time to clean up my mess
Time to pack up my moms wedding dress
Time to take my sweet time

It’s a long way to go
But I’m along for the ride
Well it’s a long way to go
Come along for the ride
It’s a long way to go
Come along
Come along for the ride

Madeline Maybe

Written By: Frank Ciampi

Madeline maybe could you run to the store
I’d be quicker if you use the back door
And don’t return to fast
Take my wallet and use the rest of my…
Hello dear I didn’t know you’d be home
Though I’m happy just to hear your voice
Been sitting around all day
Folding close and getting some shut eye
Are you asking me about that shirt?
You sure you never bought before?
Don’t you think that’s out of line?
Who the hell is Madeline?

Sweet baby you know that I care
There’s no other girl I swear
Right as she’s hugging me
A knockin’ on the door just who could it be
My Madeline

Driving out west to where the sunshine’s warm
Counting nothing shouldn’t take that long
At least our love is true
Am I happy that it’s you and me? Well…
I think its time to find a place to crash
My eyes are giving out with the sun
Been moving real far away
DO I miss her yet I can’t say?
Take the keys the room is five two one
I’ll meet you in a minute or two
Do you think that’s out of line?
Cause now I'm runnin’ from Madeline

Sweet baby you know I can’t stay
There just nothing left to say
Even though you’re right in front of me
I need my loving wife so desperately…
My Madeline
