Mark Scharf - Hailing from the alleyways of Fort Smith, Mark has been a part of rockabilly and swing act from coast to coast. Performed jazz with “Joe’s Henchmen” in New York City, until 96’. Then Branson, Missouri where he performed with a swing band, “Big Mama’s Swing Cats”. Finally in 2000 Mark was performing with the rockabilly band, “Dragstrip Drifters”. Releasing a five track EP, titled "BUSTED", on the Rebel Yell Label. In 2003 Mark founded Atomic Kings.
This ain’t your dad’s rockabilly. Their stripped down sound of four on the floor isn’t some 50’s cover band or sock hop act. They take jet-fueled originals and obscure modern covers and mix ‘em into a rockabilly knock-down-drag-out. If you want to absolutely set your venue on fire and blast off into orbit, give these guys a call.
