Frankie Joe Daigle has played all over the United States and abroad from the bayous of Louisiana to Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center to Farm Aid and the Grand Ole Opry. Frankie has appeared on TNN (The Nashville Network), Good Morning America, and the Regis Philbin Show. Frankie Joe Daigle started fiddling’ at age 6 at “The Bucket of Blood” in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with his granddad’s Cajun band, “The Daigle Brothers”. They played Cajun, Country, and Western Swing music. This is where Frankie Joe Daigle honed his craft.

In addition to performing at Farm Aid with the Allman Brothers Band, Frankie Joe has also recorded several albums and made several appearances with Willie Nelson and a host of other stars. In 1984 he was named ‘Fiddler of the Year’ by the Cajun French Music Association (CFMA). But his roots still come out in his fiddle. He studied with such greats as Cajun stars Dewey Balfa, Sady Courville, Dennis Magee and Wade Fruge. Frankie also studied with Cajun great Rufus Thibodeaux. He’s played the Grand Ole Opry with Jimmy C. Newman & Cajun Country and along side another boyhood hero, “The Ragin’ Cajun” -Doug Kershaw.

Known as "that Fiddle player", Frankie Joe Daigle has made a home performing with 18-time Grammy Award winner, Jimmy Sturr and his Orchestra, for the last 27 years. Along with Jimmy Sturr’s top-notch musicians, Frankie Joe has traveled many miles and performed many a show with the Polka King.

From California to the Grand Ole Opry Frankie Joe’s style of fiddling’ is always crowd pleasing. Frankie Joe loves sharing his experiences as a Cajun fiddler and his Cajun heritage.

Frankie Joe Daigle and The Swamp Rats lastest CD, "Hot & Spicy" features the fire driven, footstompin', toe-tapping, highly seasoned Cajun music that the fiddler is most recognized for. It includes original compositions and clever cover arrangements.
