Bio

My name is Franklin Crow and I'm a singer, songwriter and composer of folk, americana and childrens music.Currently, I'm polishing a number of original songs for two albums…one of contemporary adult folk and one of family/kid tunes. My original songs and compositions range in emotion from serious to whimsical...from factual to flights of pure invention. My performances are well received and typically lead to a return performance, a performance with another venue or both.

My performance venues range from small intimate settings to festival stages. I play with honesty and as close to the bone as possible. My performances are often of the solo acoustic variety, but I am, at times, accompanied by other musicians or my 9 year old daughter Adeline , a small ensemble or combination of all the above... depending on time allowed, show requirements and performance compensation.

My main objective as an artist is to bring my original songs to an ever expanding audience, although I do pay homage to my influences during my performance. My shows may include songs by Willie Nelson, Greg Brown Johnny Cash, Townes VanZant, Marty Robbins, Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, or any other artists tune that enhances or accents the continuity of my performance.

All that being said… A Franklin Crow performance is engaging, often includes audience participation and based on audience response…quite entertaining.
