Frank Maroney & Olivia Rudeen

In the spring of 2012, Denver-based singer/songwriters Olivia Rudeen and Frank Maroney began writing songs together. New collaborations, as most songwriters and creators know, are a lot like blind dates - you can find your soulmate or you can end up suffering through three hours of awkward small talk and stale appetizers - either way, you have to show up to find out. In their first session together, Frank and Olivia showed up in a big way, churning out a song that surprised both of them with it's strength and commercial appeal.

The two continued to write as Frank moved to Nashville in the Fall of 2012, winning the Durango Songwriters Expo Write-With-A-Hitmaker Contest with their song "Just To Say We Did" (co-written by Jeff Zacharski). As the two were presented with more and more opportunities to perform these co-written songs together, it became clear that they were stronger together than apart and creating music that demanded the attention of fans and the industry alike. In June of 2013 Olivia moved to Nashville and signed a publishing deal with The Song Factory, which has become a home to this powerhouse duo that has already performed to rave reviews at Nashville venues such as The Rutledge, The Basement, and The Listening Room.

In 2014, Frank and Olivia are poised to take the Country music scene by storm with their dedication to honest songwriting and their progressive take on the genre. They are currently working on songs for their debut record, writing with some of Nashville's top songwriters and producers, and racking their brains for a band name that doesn't make them sound like a hair metal tribute act...keep your ears and eyes out for these two.
