. . . A troubadour of lonliness and yearning, Romanelli, fueled by raw emotion and a keen sense of the human spirit, belted through his song as if the person he was searching for was in the audience. Romanelli is no stranger to perfromance. He has toured from east to west and has released two EP's "Live at the Joint" and "Century."
"Songs write themselves through me, from inside and out," he said. . . - Mercury
Frank Romanelli's sound could be described as "Neil Young with polish". If making it big in the music business had more to do with talent and less with promotion and luck, "Heaven Sits Above Me" and "Two Hearts" would be platinum singles. The best may still be yet to come for Mr. Romanelli.

Frank Romanelli is a fresh new sound in the acoustic rock genre. His gentle voice and his diverse music reach out in a way that will quickly make him a favorite of many different listeners. - Online Listener
Really nice guitar work. Good vocals. . . I listened to (Frank) twice; the first time to do the review, the second time for pure enjoyment. Pay attention class, Frank has talent. . . great lyrics and hooks. I love the vocal, a friendliness and character comes across in Frank's voice that is altogether delightful. . . - http://artistlaunch.com
Solo artist Romanelli has logged time as a performer and he invests that experience into these two originals. “Three-Way Street” shows a clearly recorded, nicely arranged song whose poetic lyrics are complemented by sensitive musicianship. The strongest outing may be “Heaven Sits Above Me,” a breezy number that is evocative of open roads and carefree days. - Music Connection Magazine

Bio
I play music because I'm good at it, it's fun and it makes people happy.).
I'm originally from Providence RI, My career as a solo singer/songwriter has had me playing mostly the northeast and southwest parts of the country.
I've played several well known Los Angeles venues, including The Joint in West LA and The Rainbow on Sunset in W. Hollywood. When on the west coast, It's not unusual to see me at a Tuesday night open jam at Suzy's in Hermosa Beach, or doing a pub gig at one of the clubs on the Hermosa Beach Pier (my favorite is Fat Face Fenner's Fishack). I've also regularly played the Burbank Bar and Grille in Burbank and appeared at Mardi Gras in the Toluca Lake section of North Hollywood.
On the east coast, I can most often be found around the Newport, RI beaches, playing original and standard favorites at Riptides, The Sail Loft and Pineapple's on the Bay on Goat Island, or doing an acoustic set at Empire Tea and Coffee. My favorite east coast cameo spot is Club Passim in Cambridge, MA.
In addition to other east and west coast shows, I've played Denver, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, and Honolulu. Check it out.
