Frank Swales

BandRockSinger/Songwriter

I do everything by myself, usually, and the genres change depending on my songwriting mood. These days I'm more into recording, mixing and producing other people (for fun mostly) but I don't have the time I used to have as I'm also running a course in Music Technology at a local College.....

Biography

Influences - very 60's/70's with a "sprinkling" of the present. Synth orientated bands such as Floyd and Genesis, but into Beatles, Man, Barclay James Harvest, Caravan, Steely Dan, Michelle N'Degeocello, Fairport, Steeleye Span (supported them once at a festival many moons ago along with Van Morrison.....), the list goes on. Best thing to say is that if I were a "service" I could deliver musicality, engineering and production skills to just about any genre......then again, I haven't tried EVERY genre but I like a challenge.....

“Lorraine” (By Frank Swales)

Lorraine
I’ll never look at you the same
The rain
Falling outside my window will remind me no-one
Is to blame
For this beautiful thing we’ve found will take away the pain
For a little while
But it’s all worthwhile anyway.

Once bitten, twice shy
I’m a fool to look for love
But I can never hear the whispers in my head
But my heart screams your name out
Every day that you’re not there
And I do believe even more now all you’ve said.

Lorraine
I never knew how to behave
With you
I can see everything so clearly now there’s nothing more to do
But to lie in your arms and hold you close and tell you true
That my heart is strong
And nothing can go wrong at all.

Once bitten, twice shy
I’m a fool to look for love
But I can never hear the whispers in my head
But my heart screams your name out
Every day that you’re not there
And I do believe even more now all you’ve said.

I said
Once bitten, twice shy
I’m a fool to look for love
But I can never hear the whispers in my head
But my heart screams your name out
Every day that you’re not there
And I do believe even more now all you’ve said.

Lorraine
I’ll never look at you the same.

Lorraine
I’ll never look at you the same.

Lorraine
I’ll never look at you the same.

Lorraine.
