This mobility gave her the unique social skill of knowing how to be a friend,- thus easily making good friends. This experience has served her well. in that Jazz Singing is such a personable expression, Frankye has the ability to touch and connect with her audiences on such an emotional level no matter where she performs, from; Europe, Japan, China, Mexico and America. Music has always been a major part of her life, greatly influenced by the; Gospel, Spiritual, acapella groups, the Jazz of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Sarah Vaughn, and Miles Davis, as well as the Rock n Roll of Little Richard and Fats Domino. Frankye was showered with love and encouragement from her family and especially her father, and then very personal advice and exposure to a musician's life, from her cousin, the late, Legendary Blues Star, Albert Collins.
