"Tribute to Sherri Wood - Music for our Sherri amour - Concert was 'a day where people could celebrate'"

Franky Moonlight revved things up with an energetic, scream-tinged performance which went over quite well. Perhaps the first real highlight came following Franky Moonlights set when the band was joined by friends of Sherri's for a poignant cover of Pink Floyd's 'Wish you Were Here'. - Toronto Sun - Showbiz Monday October 6, 2008 pg. 53

Bio

Franky Moonlight is a collective of musicians who don’t play for the fame; or the money; or the groupies; and they definitely don’t play because they’re told to. Nope. Franky Moonlight is a band of four guys who work to live, and live to play music.

Although a relatively new project, the band’s members are far from green. Each one has spent years cutting their teeth in the Toronto music scene, playing in various bands and sharing stages with acts like Billy Talent, Ill Scarlett, The Salads & Rehab for Quitters.

Their 2008 full length independent release, FM:Radio, is an eclectic collection of songs recorded, produced & mixed by the band. In 2009, tracks were featured in a live dance performance on Broadway, choreographed by the award-winning Border Crossing Collective. Running on this momentum, in 2009, the band released the Snap-Cube-Gun EP, a more aggressive album featuring the band’s darker, heavier side.

Currently working on new material and blowing away audiences with their intense interactive live shows, Franky Moonlight continues to amass the support and recognition of fans and critics alike.
