Fran McConville

Fran McConville

Instrumental funky jazz you can dance to.

Originally from Worcester, MA, Fran McConville Jr. began his musical journey at an early age, taking classical piano lessons and learning pieces by Mozart, Bach, and other popular composers. He picked up the guitar during his freshman year in highschool and hasn't looked back.

His influences cover a wide array of styles and include jazz guitar great Kenny Burrell, local Boston guitar whiz Duke Levine, rock legend's Eric Clapton and Duane Allman, guitar hero Stevie Ray Vaughan, Banjo virtuoso Bela Fleck, and legendary funk icon's the Meters, to name a few.

Before moving to Los Angeles he kept a full schedule of playing gigs in dive bars with local bands like Little Rock Cannonball, Capital Taco Party, Erinn Brown, Bill Ross, and Move Over, Delvis, and The Dreamers. He can currently be seen with talented Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Gypsy.
