I hate when I start writing something and the computer at the library shuts down.
My parents are not big into music. They never went to Rock concerts and they don't really collect music. I grew up without music the way most people do. I sang in church. I always had the sense music had a purpose. I tried at 4 to play a song of Superman. What a fucking great idea. Right now I'm back to that. I approach music the way Roy Lichenstein approached abstract expressionism though that doesn't compare at all.
I sympathize with Robert Johnson. I actually don't count anyone else. I like listening to his music because it shares a story against a really good sound and it seems that everytime he speaks it might interact with the notes he's playing.
I like lyrics. I grew up playing like a better Bob Dylan and then I retaught myself how to write and I wasn't as angry anymore and I started listening to Robert Johnson.
