Biography

Dear Music Lovers,

My music is an eclectic mix of many forms of music but it is essentially a combination of Modern and Classic Rock. I love playing the guitar and singing, but most of all, I enjoy writing songs.

Lyric writing is especially important to me and is the most enjoyable part of my music. I've always loved music and it is still a big part of my enjoyment in life.

Email me and let me know what you think about the music.

Reflections

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. How many days were spent in good what did I do to make a change?
I search within to find a piece of wisdom used to pay my way

2. Will I be honest with my heart and will I tell myself the truth?
Did the roads that I have paved repent and justify my youth?

Chorus: Reflections of an aging soul I ponder deeply in the past
Reflections of just wondering will my legacy last

3. The looking glass will tell the truth will it show what I want to see?
Has every fiber in my soul been everything I want for me?

4. I wonder if the universe is big enough to hold regret?
Is my time on earth about to end am I finished I hope not yet?

Chorus: Reflections of an aging soul I ponder deeply in the past
Reflections of just wondering will my legacy last

5. Every soul that came my way I hope I made them feel at rest
I look inside my aging heart I burn in hope I did my best

6. Will a stranger rise and say "I heard of him, an honest man"
"He was a person to admire, his legacy no one can match"

Chorus: Reflections of an aging soul I ponder deeply in the past
Reflections of just wondering will my legacy last

Do You Remember?

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. Does your mansion remind you of our little home and things we've done?

2. Has the glamour and all the glitz turned you into someone new?
I can't believe you've changed this much I can't believe that we are through

Chorus: Do you remember who you were before you were a superstar?
Do you remember who you were have you forgotten who you are?

3. You said fame wouldn't change you you'd always be yourself
Do you remember your own words do you remember what you said?

4. The people that surround you the ones who say they care
They're not the people you can trust your burdens they will never share

Chorus: Do you remember who you were before you were a superstar?
Do you remember who you were have you forgotten who you are?

5. You said you'd be gone for just a while I thought you would come back soon
I thought you'd share everything I found out I had no clue

6. You're really havin' a blast there but the good times wont last long
Fame and fortune will disappear who will you be when it's gone?

Chorus: Do you remember who you were before you were a superstar?
Do you remember who you were have you forgotten who you are?

It's Me

Written By: Fred Christoffer/Lindsay Mazza

1. Thought I'd get my life, together today It seems so many things got in my way
I've been waiting for someone else to find me and take me off the shelf

2. Songs in my head with words unsaid will never be heard with thoughts so dread
Afraid to say what was on my mind I have to speak or be left behind

Chorus: What's my answer, I just believe? It's me I believe in and now I'm free
It's me I've looked for, don't need the rest It's me I've searched for, I know my best

3. My mel-o-dy was lost at sea waiting for someone to rescue me
There's no one here to help me out I want to scream I need to shout

4. I'm sitting here, just out of reach All my fears, surrounding me
In-hi-bi-tion keeps me down the en-e-my that makes me doubt

Chorus: What's my answer, I just believe? It's me I believe in and now I'm free
It's me I've looked for, don't need the rest It's me I've searched for, I know my best

5. Where's the faith I need, what is true? I need something to get me through,
I'll dig down deep and I'll be brave 'cause I'm the one I have to save

6. I yearn for faith what do I need? my faith is here, my faith in me
You know it's been here all along I'm singing my new freedom song

Chorus: What's my answer, I just believe? It's me I believe in and now I'm free
It's me I've looked for, don't need the rest It's me I've searched for, I know my best

Beautiful Country

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. Down the highway without a care To see the land and feel the air
Rolling with hills and chasing a train Down the valley and over the plain

2. Deer cross the road they seen to fly My love is cuddled by my side
The destination we make our way Sunrise, sunset will take the day

Chorus: Beautiful country beautiful land Grandeur of mountains to shores of sand
Beautiful country beautiful land I'm glad to be an A-mer-i-can

3. The cattle graze and birds fly low The farmer toils with fields to sew
Heavens are blue the clouds are bright A sunny day turns starry night

4. The summer wind graces the tree Flower petals summon the bee
Deserts painted as nature's art The colors blend and touch the heart

Chorus: Beautiful country beautiful land Grandeur of mountains to shores of sand
Beautiful country beautiful land I'm glad to be an A-mer-i-can

5. Canyons large with colored bluffs The fence travels near with lines above
The fox takes flight and so the dove A-mer-i-ca a land to love

6. The rivers wide flow North and South, wonderful country they surround
Stunning shores that take your breath, so a-ma-zing is the rest

Chorus: Beautiful country beautiful land Grandeur of mountains to shores of sand
Beautiful country beautiful land I'm glad to be an A-mer-i-can

Helpless As A Child

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. You can't hide the hurt from me it comes around in my life too
I'm not sure what I should do to try and comfort you

2. It's hard for me to smile at you when I see you in so much pain
If only I could clear your skies and take away the rain

Chorus: I feel as helpless as a child I'll do my best to heal your wounds
I feel as helpless as a child I'd take your place to feel the bruise

3. Your suffering gets me down your pain must be intense
Your anguish I feel it too when I see you like this

4. Can I give you a part of me? I'll give you everything I can
I would trade my life for yours so your days count as the grains of sand

Chorus: I feel as helpless as a child I'll do my best to heal your wounds
I feel as helpless as a child I'd take your place to feel the bruise

5. I wish the wisdom were mine to take away your agony
I would search the universe to heal your wounds and set you free

6. Let me hold your hand in mine I'll hold it till the break of day
I'll speak softly to reassure and search for the right words to say

Chorus: I feel as helpless as a child I'll do my best to heal your wounds
I feel as helpless as a child I'd take your place to feel the bruise

Dreams Can Come True

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. I'm hoping that my dream comes true My heart yearns to see it soon
It's for-e-ver it often seems before you re-a-lize your dream

2. I work my way through toil and strife I keep the dream that gives me life
I think about it ev-er-y-day It lifts me up as I make my way

Chorus: Dreams can come true and light the sky Reach for the stars you have to try
Dreams can come true and part the clouds The sun shines through and seems to shout

3. People say my dream's to tough I just don't care I won't give up
My fam-i-ly believes in me Even if they don't agree

4. My day-job it plays a role A stepping stone to reach my goal
Watch the sky and see the view When fi-nal-ly my dream comes true

Chorus: Dreams can come true and light the sky Reach for the stars you have to try
Dreams can come true and part the clouds The sun shines through and seems to shout

5. They say it's not when you reach the top But stru-gl-ling to every stop
How many others had this aim To touch their dream and walk this lane

6. Don't let them say it can't be done the truth is you've just begun
They'll pull you down and tell you no, you can do it you know it's so

Chorus: Dreams can come true and light the sky Reach for the stars you have to try
Dreams can come true and part the clouds The sun shines through and seems to shout

I Sing A Song

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. Just a guitar on my back, the sun lights the path I roam
All the stars shine just for me, where I lay my head is home

2. I walk the streets to find a stage, people see me and look away
I smile and nod my head, I pretend they know my face

Chorus: I sing a song for strangers, they'll never know my name
I sing a song for strangers, they see my hat and drop some change

3. No matter what they may think, I enjoy just being me
I do the very best I can, I enjoy just being free

4. One man's trash another's gold, I'm happy to find something new
I have purpose searching the streets, my worldly things are just a few

Chorus: I sing a song for strangers, they'll never know my name
I sing a song for strangers, they see my hat and drop some change

5. When I'm gone no one will care, they haven't remembered me yet
It will never matter to me, I left a smile with all I met

6. When I'm gone there's nothing to will, I won't take anything with me
I'll miss everyone who heard my songs, I would have sung them all for free

Chorus: I sing a song for strangers, they'll never know my name
I sing a song for strangers, they see my hat and drop some change

I'm Glad This Fight is Over

Written By: Fred Christoffer

1. It was painful from the start I didn't know how hard it was
A daunting foe as all could see They said I'd lose was all the buzz

2. I hit the floor and more than once with every blow I felt the pain
A cloud of doom was overhead there was no sunshine only rain

Chorus: I'm glad this fight is over I'm weary, beat and out of breath
I'm glad this fight is over I was sure it would be my death

3. I swung my fists with all my might with every right a counter left
We struggled hard in every clutch, not even a word was said

4. The sweat flowed like pouring rain blood everywhere on the floor
No matter how hard I hit, my enemy came back for more

Chorus: I'm glad this fight is over I'm weary, beat and out of breath
I'm glad this fight is over I was sure it would be my death

5. My courage started leaving me I didn't really know the cost
With every swing I faded more I started thinking all was lost

6. I made myself take one more swing it was the last and final round
I hit him once with all my might It was over when he went down

Chorus: I'm glad this fight is over I'm weary, beat and out of breath
I'm glad this fight is over I was sure it would be my death
