Hi, I’m Freddie Johnson and you can find out a lot more about me at my website, www.freddiejohnsonsmusic.com . But for starters I'll tell you that I've been a musician most of my life and when I became a Christian a few years ago I felt led to record a CD that would reflect that change in my life. With the Lord’s help I recently completed a CD of thirteen original songs. They range from fiery to poignant and moving with fresh lyrics set to real country with a distinct "kick" to it. The CD is called, ‘The Big House On Gold Street’. It’s on Highest Mountain Records and it’s available at my website.
I've had a lot of problems in life because of an addiction to opiates, which, with the capable assistance of Jesus Christ, I finally overcame. But, it was an indescribably long, vicious, and painful war. Now days I'm just a simple man following a simple plan, Christ Jesus' plan.
You should listen to my songs. My influences were Jesus, Waylon, Vern Gosdin, and the Allman Brothers Band. I recorded the CD this past September at Song City Studios in Nashville with some of the most talented "pickers" alive. All in all, we had a ball! Peace to you all...
