Bio

"I love hip-hop and I respect it. It is said you should do something that you love to do and that's what I love to do."

Born in New Jersey, Fred Diezil can't recall too many positive things about his childhood and experiences. Diezil grew up in an area where the chances for failure are much greater then the chances to succeed. "Most people play the victim, I was born a victim, so I don't have time for it. Living in a household addicted to drugs, and being exposed to domestic violence within the home, at the age of 9, he and his mother fled to the state of Washington.

Upon graduation from high school, Fred Diezil started to focus on writing music as a means to express what was happening at the time in his life. Although he'd always loved rap, his musical exposure to other genres helped deepen his appreciation for music as a whole. While putting himself through business school, he started focusing more seriously on teaching himself how to write and record music. After recieving positive feedback from his shows and individuals who had heard him, he decided to build his own studio as he couldn't afford to pay for studio time. He began to teach himself the tricks of the trade in recording music.

While finishing up business school and running a business, Fred Diezil began recording himself and other local artists. He spent the beginning of his career focused on other artist's work, doing engineering work on the "Many Faces Miztape" and the complete engineering on Ang-P's "The Focus."

Diezil was currently featured on "Live from I5," DJ Luvva J's 2 hour broadcast on Evergreen station 89.3 KAOS, which also aired online and on Comcast cable in Thurston County on TCTV Public Access channel 22 as well as Comcast Digital Cable channel 982. He is currently performing at local nightspots along the I-5 corridor, while working on his highly anticipated mixtape, "Closed Mouths Don't Get Fed!" Due out summer 2007.
