"Washington State Artist Fred Diezil Wins MIMS' “Open Bars” Sales Competition"

Washington State Artist Fred Diezil Wins MIMS' “Open Bars” Sales Competition
Coast 2 Coast and Real Life Click Artist Fred Diezil Wins Hip Hop Artist MIMS’ “Open Bars” Sales Competition. Diezil’s Song, “Winter’s My Summer,” Chosen Out of Thousands of Worldwide Submissions for iTunes and Placement and to Compete for the Most Single Sales.

Tacoma, WA (PRWEB) May 11, 2011

Tacoma-based independent artist Fred Diezil, a member of the Real Life Click and represented by Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes was recently selected as the winner of platinum-recording artist MIMS’ “Open Bars” sales competition. A collaboration between MIMS and Erik Mendelson—behind-the-scenes hip hop guru and producer—“Open Bars” asked artists to record a verse or submit a beat under a MIMS accapella track created especially for the contest. Of thousands of submissions worldwide, Diezil’s song “Winter’s My Summer” – MIMS ft. Gudda Gudda and Fred Diezil (Fred Diezil Remix) was selected for iTunes and placement by MIMS and his team. Once selected, Diezil competed with other chosen artists to try to sell the most copies of their single online. As the top seller, Diezil was awarded a meeting with a major record label of his choosing.

Fred Diezil has already begun to make an impact on the Internet hip hop scene, with over 4 million impressions (downloads, views, and plays) and a spot on over 100 mixtapes. Having performed on many stages and opened for major artists such as Twista, E-40, Ying Yang Twins, Too $hort, Devin the Dude, and YG, Fred Diezil has built quite the following in the Pacific Northwest. Backed by Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, the company that puts out the most downloaded mixtape series in the world (headed by CEO Kyle “Lil Fats” and President Nick Hiersche), Diezil certainly doesn’t do it alone. And though Coast 2 Coast helps many artists reach individual goals in the industry, the company is currently only representing the Real Life Click (which includes Fred Diezil, Miz, Ang P & producer Nemisis), along with artists iLLA and Sha Stimuli. As the winner of this competition, Diezil has the opportunity to make big things happen for the hip hop scene in Washington state and throughout the Northwest.

“Winter’s My Summer” – MIMS ft. Gudda Gudda and Fred Diezil is available for purchase on iTunes and For more information about Fred Diezil, visit him on Facebook, at , and on Jango radio at - PR Web &

Before Fred Diezil had over 4 million impressions and was winning World Competitions, Fred Diezil was born Fredrick Briddle Jr. on June 20th, 1983 in Perth Amboy, NJ where he lived until he was ten years old.  At that time, Fred moved to Washington State where he still currently resides.

Growing up he was exposed to drug abuse and domestic violence which ultimately led to his mother moving him and herself out to the Northwest for a fresh start.

Because of his upbringing he was more mature than most of the suburban youth he found himself surrounded by at this point, and by the age of 16 Fred Diezil was already working 2 jobs and living out on his own.

Just after graduating from high school Fred Diezil started toying with writing songs and recording music for himself as well as for other artists.  Then in the summer of 2004 his god brother and childhood friend came out to Washington to live.  It just so happened that this friend was also a music artist and had just released a mixtape of his own.

Soon after the 2 of them as well as a few other artists, formed the collective, "The RLC" or "The Real Life Click".  Some of the members had already began making a little name for themselves and would soon catch the ear of a young entrepreneur named Lil Fats.

Lil Fats had just created an upstart company called, "Coast2Coast Mixtapes/Hi Rollerz Records"  Their friendship with Lil Fats would soon turn into a business relationship.

Since signing with Lil Fats in 2007, Fred Diezil in conjunction with the RLC, has been featured on and released numerous projects.

Fred Diezil has been on a ton of mixtapes as well as 3 group mixtapes with the RLC and a 2 solo mixtapes called, "Out Wit Da Old", & Recently Released "If I was on the RADIO" which were also released through C2C.

With a track record of quality music and Coast2Coast behind him, Fred Diezil looks to have a promising future ahead of him.  If you didn't know who he was before, remember the name.  It's FRED DIEZIL!
