Television and Film:

Feeling a bit camera shy

Freddi Shehadi is an Emmy Award/Mobius Award winning guitarist/composer and producer living between New York City and Vermont. His skilled fingerstyle technique, original compositions, and arrangements of carefully chosen standards blend the worlds of blues, jazz, rock and classical to achieve a real contemporary form. Shehadi, whose musical career has spanned decades composing and playing guitar for film, television, and major record projects, has embarked on a joyful voyage of performing his own music both solo and with uniquely talented musical colleagues.

Shehadi has worked with artists and music industry greats as diverse as José Feliciano, Debbie Harry, L.A Reid, Martin Sexton and a host of others; he promises to bring experience from many different stages to his concerts.

Freddi commands a wide range of styles and textures in his performances. On Stage he can take you from soaring, intense passages to soft intimate interludes, weaving together a rich spectrum of musical tapestry. He loves to capture the energy of a performance from spontaneity, working with a very talented and diverse group of musicians. Expect to “feel” as much as you “hear” from this dynamic musician.

“As a New York based musician coming up in the 80’s and 90’s Manhattan, I had to become diversified to survive,” says Shehadi. “My most recent compositions emerged from those years and beyond; this is what I intend to bring to the stage: something exciting, fresh and soulful. I want the audience to feel it as much as hear it.” -- Freddi Shehadi
