Bio
"I write the music the way the spirit sends it to me," Freddy says with a smile. There's no doubt about that. Freddy's music is inspired by artists such as Fiona Apple, Elvis Costello, Jeff Lynne, the Beach Boys, and Neil Young. Freddy's vocal harmonies seem to be taken from a page of Brian Wilson. Hailing from Bucks County, PA, Freddy has embarked on a serious career as a singer/songwriter.
His latest album entitled "The Freddy Herrmann Project," was recorded at Strate Sound Studios in San Diego, CA. Engineered by the award-winning Alan Sanderson, the album is a five-song EP of Freddy's best. On the east coast, Mr. Herrmann
recorded at Chung King Studios in New York City. "Elias Arts," one of the largest music libraries in the country, considers Freddy's songs worthy of their catalog. Early in his career, Freddy was the driving creative force behind Philly-cult favorites "the Zendogs."
In 2008, the FH Project album will be heard on American MP3 Jukeboxes through the country, in restaurants, clubs, taverns, coffee houses, etc.
