"Press Release"

Frederick Davis Productions, Inc., Release CD.

Recording artist, songwriter and stage performer Frederick has teamed up with fellow Clevelander, and songwriter Frieda Stelmach, to write a song to honor our troops fighting the war on terror. The song is entitled:

“America Safe and Free”

It has been over 21 years since the release of his first single, “Gentle (Calling your Name),” which was a national hit in the U.S. as well as the United Kingdom. “America Safe and Free” is also the title of the single CD, scheduled to hit record stores on September 11, 2007.

Frederick promises this song will touch the hearts of Americans all over the world, the beauty of the song depicts the story of a child’s innocent love shared with their parent(s). The dedication is to service members currently serving and/or have served in Iraq and other parts of the world fighting terror.

These individuals represent our heros that pay the ultimate price; their children are left behind while mom and/or dad spend months away from home protecting our country. This song represents the acknowledgement that they desire and our way of saying “thank you” from the deepest part of our hearts.

To date, Frederick continues to receive airplay on major radio stations across the country, as well as abroad. In 2006, the song “Gentle” was released on the compilation album, “WDAS 105. 3 FM - Oldies Classic Soul Volume 10 and Soul Classic, Volume 12.”
