I was wading along the waters edge
Before I got to deep
The current pulled me as I struggled
waving arms and kicking feet
Wasn't long before I had drifted beyond the eye could see
Silence haunting as whites flags staling
alone out at sea
Fighting waves from going under every breath getting tougher
Salvation dawns a distant plead horizons sea to sea
Memories come flooding all of you what you've done for me
Words I left unspoken stains my heart
identity
You give me a reason
For all I've been given
Shown me that I have it all
Held me from falling
Supported me always
Reached out with affection and warmth
Helped me believe
I could rise from my knees
Be all I could be
Your my Island paradise when I am lost at sea
My body is shaking weighing eyes closing slowly falling asleep
Sinking down I hardly notice motions played my mind before
Cemented with me a deafening plea things left unsaid and broken
Last breath or air escapes from my lungs a prier to late
