Bio

Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Fred Ramos, has been surrounded by music all his life. Fred performed his first vocal solo on stage, as the lead in his second grade musical production of “Pinocchio”. A few years later, Fred’s father gave him his first guitar lesson, helping him to realize his great passion for the instrument. Using this desire to Sing and play guitar, he began to compose songs with meaningful lyrics to go with them.

Fred developed his songwriting style, “Acoustic based pop rock”, by listening to a wide variety of musicians and vocalist. These include Indigo girls, Bon Jovi, Tori Amos, Poison, Foo Fighters, Elvis, and many more. Drawing from these artists and his life experiences, Fred continues to write, develop, and expand his music to explore new horizons.

An Ohio native currently living in Central Florida, Fred has performed in many local and national venues. Locally, Fred can be seen playing guitar and singing at Universal Studio’s, House of Blues, Hard Rock Live, Pleasure Island, Latin Quarter, Jimmy Buffet’s Margarittaville, and many more. Nationally, Fred has played in many cities including, Los Angeles, Cleveland, Key West, New Orleans, and New York city to name a few.

Fred has also put his talent to use as a composer. He has written songs for segments used on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, and the theme song for “Creature Feature with Professor Paul Bearer”, debuting on UPN 44 in Tampa this October. He has also written songs used by Famous recording artist, touring conventions, and weddings.

Fred continuously strives to bring music and enjoyment to his fans. His future plans include recording a new album, touring, and writing more songs.
