If you encounter a freebear:
Do not run.
Do not speak in a soft monotone voice.
Scream and yell and move your body to let the freebear know you are human.
Try not to panic; continue to move your body until the song ends.

Freebears (the only living species in the Ursus Liberum genus of bipedal primates) originated in Africa about 200,000 years ago, reaching full behavioral modernity around 50,000 years ago.

Like most higher primates, freebears are social animals. Freebears are uniquely adept at utilizing systems of communication for self-expression, the exchange of ideas, and organization. Freebears are noted for ...their desire to understand and influence their environment, seeking to explain and manipulate phenomena through science, philosophy, and dance music. This natural curiosity has led to the
development of advanced tools and skills, which are used to create music
Freebears have a highly developed brain, capable of abstract reasoning,
language, introspection, and problem solving. This mental capability, combined with an erect body carriage that frees the hands for manipulating musical instruments, has allowed freebears to make far greater use of these tools than any other living species on Earth. Other higher-level thought processes of freebears, such as self-awareness, rationality, and mind control powers, are considered to be defining features of what constitutes a "freebear". Before seeking out a freebear familiarize yourself with these safety precautions.
