Bio
Freedom Within started in the summer of 2009 when five long-time friends decided to join together and create a rock band. Over the years, it has gained/lost a couple of members; but has morphed into a group of musicians who have a love and passion for music and anything related to it.
Since the beginning, we have combined our love for music with the hard work of working up/composing songs. As of now, we are mainly a cover band. Lately, however, we have been putting our heads together and trying to combine our ideas to create original pieces.
We play cover songs from a wide variety of rock artists. From classics such as Led Zeppelin, Joe Walsh, Tom Petty, Guns & Roses, Pink Floyd, and the Steve Miller Band. To other, more modern artists such as Kings of Leon, John Mayer, Coldplay, Paramore, Sheryl Crow, The Black Crowes, and Wolfmother.
