Of All The People Here - Vodka-Pickle EP 2015

Written By: Freeman Dre

Well it’s after midnight and I’m hard to the core
Like my dad was, and last night before
So pour another for a brother on the lamb
Living undercover I’m just sticking to the plan
There’s only so many times you come home to a locked door

I’ve slept on benches, I’ve slept in church
I can’t tell ya which one made me feel worse

Of all the people here, you’re the only one
Who never ever judged us by the way we have our fun

I’ve been A.D.D since 83’ or 84’
That’s 21...25...29 years now maybe more
And I think they need to pay me more
For hitting play record to get the tape in store
When it rains it pours… I stay indoors
I wrote it down babe put your name in verses

And I can’t tell ya which one made me feel worse… but
Of all the people here, you’re the only one
Who never ever judged us by the way we have our fun

We All Fall Down - Old Town 2012

Written By: Freeman Dre

Well, my good friend
he hit rock bottom man, he’s dangerous.
When he gets down, he gets down
I mean he gets DOWN
I don’t see him much these days,
aint like we’re young.. we got older
But I still call him just to let him know I’m around
and I know,

We all fall down
That’s ok man it’s no problem
as long as you got friends to help you out
cuz’ we all get lost,
that’s a part of going walking,
it’s the getting home – that’s what it’s all about…that’s what it’s all about!

Well, my good friend she lost her old man a couple years back,
when she gets cryin’ she can’t get to sleep at night.
And she knows that I’m late so we go drinking’ on a weekday,
Makes me feel better when she says it makes her feel alright
Cuz’ I know,

We all fall down
That’s ok girl it’s no problem
as long as you got friends to help you out
cuz’ we hurt,
that’s a part of being human,
it’s the healing’ that’s what living’ is all about…that’s what it’s all about!
