FREEWILL

In the early days of 2008, Javier Garza and Grant Qualls played guitar for a heavy metal group. The group completely dissolved and Javier went on to form "Painted Blind" (PB).

During 2010, Javier auditioned Matthew Crutcher for the drum position for PB. The two began performing locally, while simultaneously looking for the bass position to be filled.

After 2 years, Grant and Javier (although working on a country project at the time) realized their similar creative chemistry. The two had finally become three, and PB sprang forward for a brief period.

Enter John Jo:
John Joseph was introduced and invited to jam by one of the guys. He immediately brought a new element to the charisma, intrigue, and spontaneity of what is now FREEWILL.

The gang released an EP entitled "F.A.T. EP" in 2012, comprised of PB and FW songs and remixes.

FREEWILL is currently in the studio working on their self-produced debut album "Super Proper". We are currently looking forward to hitting the road summer 2013. Dates will be posted soon and we hope to see you soon!
