The music of the Freight Train Annie Band is best described as an electricfying and eclectic show.
This band brings a superb mix of covers with some select funky originals thrown in. The many influences of the band come from the musical backround and past experince of each band member. Anne Waddey, lead vocalist, is heavily influenced by classic rock, stax music and traditional blues. Craig Van Tilbury, lead guitar,is and experienced road musician. (i.e. Joey Dee and the Starliters, Little Eva, etc.)
(Much of his Guitar expertise comes from the influence of Danny Gatton, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton) The rest of the band has also played the professional road circuit, including David Cotton who played in the Tinsley Ellis Band, a national blues act. With all the influences of this band, the set lista cover all styles of music, modern rock, classic rock, country, disco, R&B, blues, Jazz, Punk, Reggae, oldies....
