Somewhat hidden away, in the seaside village of Waikuku Beach, New Zealand, you will find the haunting dream-folk duo French for Rabbits. The unusually named couple released their first EP Claimed by the Sea in 2012, which was nominated for Folk Album of the Year and went on to receive radio play in their homeland and on BBC 6 and Amazing Radio in the UK.
In 2013 they travelled to Europe for the first time, performing a series of intimate house concerts throughout Germany and Switzerland, and small festival performances in the UK.
