Versatility, Confidence, and Experience sets Nashville, TN artist Ron Ford apart from his peers. Ford is a commodity to the pulse of today’s ever changing music scene. He has the ability to cross boundaries by producing pop, funk, hip-hop, and any other genre you could think of.

Born in Detroit, Michigan in the 80s, he was practically tossed into the music biz. His father being a songwriter/producer to the famed funk band Parliament Funkadelics, gave Ford a greater appreciation for the art of music. Citing his father (Ron Prophet Ford) and his Godfather (George Clinton) as main influences he was able to combine his ability to recognize the groove with a desire to move his own crowd.

Early childhood landed Ford in Los Angeles, California homeless due to circumstances beyond his control. Using that experience as fuel, Ford speaks to the have nots through his music Rapping with passion and pain. He has written music for members of the P-Funk as well as for host of upcoming artist.

Early 2010 Ford was introduced to Eddie Gullen owner of upstart production company C.O.D. MUSIC GROUP. They took to each other almost instantly and began to work on Ford's first album "SKYMILES" fear of not flying. He also released "The Black Box Mixtape".

At 25, he has been all over the country, networking and building his worth. Teaming up with former Motown writer Gloria Jones, Ford is Planning to visit South Africa in 2011 with THE LIGHT OF LOVE FOUNDATION. He is thinking unlike most independent artist. Personal expectations have been set very high for this talented artist. Music is only a portion of his heart, giving back to the communities in similar positions as he once was is highly important to the young MC.
