TATTED-UP GIRL (Prod. by ID LABS) - Fres(co.) 2011

Time To Grow (Mixtape) - Fres(co.) Dec. 2010

Forming Rhymes & Ending Separation.

These four words are the definition of what this MC from Phoenix, AZ represents through his music. 22-year old Rapper/Producer Fres(co.) [pronounced Fres] is a well rounded MC poising to take over the game. Fres(co.)’s lyrical talent is top-notch, his creativity exclusive, and his style unmatched. Fres brings a fresh new sound that fans and artists of all ages have come to love and respect.

But Fres, had a journey of his own before finding this new identity.

Fres had moved to the East Valley of Phoenix, by way of the midwest at the age of 15. Like many people in the early 2000s, Fres became a fan of hip-hop, since it had moved its way into mainstream media & culture. And being the new kid in a big city, he started to create music to garner attention from his peers.

By Junior year of high school, Fres began to hone his skills as a young MC, and started to freestyle and create mixtapes with friends. At the same time, he also took upon the name “Fresco” to go along side his flow-heavy rap style.

Fres(co.)’s interest and experimentation with hip-hop, and music in general, moved from a hobby with friends, to something he wanted to take on as a career.

After high school, Fres moved to California to intern at 4th Street Recording in Santa Monica, CA. While working there, he learned how to work in a rock studio that helped to create a dynamic sense of artistry that surpassed a stereotypical hip-hop MC.

Coming back from California, Fres had taken the knowledge & hustle he had acquired and brought it back to Arizona. In AZ, Fres(co.)’s talent and determination did not go unnoticed, and it became clear to those around him that Fres owned unlimited potential to strive in the music industry.

And now, here we are, in 2011–with Fres.

An artist who has graced the stage with nationally known acts such as Pac Div, Kendrick Lamar, and more. An artist who has dropped his first disc, “Time to Grow” and is currently working on his follow up “The Manifest Destiny.” An artist who has dropped singles such as Tatted Up Girl & an artist who cares about the direction of hip-hop.

Forming Rhymes & Ending Separation. The goal of this promising, young MC.
