The Take Over is one of Fresh Linen's more introspective records to date. This breakthrough song was written by the Indiana duo as an ode to family lost and present as well as their clear intentions to rise in the music stratosphere. - 'Round Magazine

Bio
Fresh Linen is an American Hip Hop duo based in East Hammond, Indiana. Consisting of Indiana Native Shaun Linen and fellow Indiana native Adam Fresh. The group’s music style is out of the box and can't be confined to one particular style at times. Fresh Linen repertoire consists of songs in the genres of R&B, Soul, Hip-hop, Urban Rap and Reggae; there are also elements of Rock, Pop, Poetry and Psychedelia in their song structure and beat style.
Hailing from Hammond, Indiana FRESH LINEN offer a sound that's unparallelled on a regional level. Though encompassing a "midwest style" of flow, the duo contrasts almost entirely with the modern day rap & hip hop scene reflecting shades of soul, blues, and sometimes reggae in their repertoire. The two have lightly dubbed the sound "Indiana Soul".
The group was greeted with astounding responses on the web, generating hundreds of thousands of views on sites such as youtube.com and datpiff.com, with the mixtape "Good Will Hunting" as well as several leaked tracks rumored to be from their upcoming studio album.
