The hardest part of Fresh Produce's short existence was coming up with the name, which we fought over for quite sometime until Fresh Produce came to light. At first when we told friends they immediately thought of fruits and vegetables and hey,"you should have some tree with fruits on it for your first album."
Fresh Produce meant entirely something different to us however. The words meant more of a challenge than anything else. That challenge was to come up with Fresh music. It meant that every song we created from then on was going to be scrutinized for each of its parts until we all thought it was worth mentioning with the name Fresh Produce. It did not mean that we were going to change the face of music by any means. But that when you heard our sound you would immediatley know that was FP and there was no mistaking it for anyone else.
