"Review - A&R Select"

Music Comments: These tracks are a set of very strong dance tracks right in place with todays radio dance artist sound. The tracks are diverse and all high energy. The music itself is full, ambient, and electro classic. The vocals are a perfect fit and always melodically faithful to the melody of the tracks music. The tracks can all be used as club tracks that thump through out the disc. The mot unique part of these songs is that Freya doesn't hold back as much as most dance/pop singers do. The mix and production is very well done. The balance of instrumentation is excellent. The CD is very well written, smart, and full of energy that this genre usually lacks. Freya Storm is a bit ahead of her game with this album. The whole CD is impressive and diverse. Great for tv cues. - A&R Select

Bio

From her early years in a small town in northern Norway, Freya was shaped by the wild nature, spectacular beauty and the great contrasts found in both the landscape and the shifting seasons. This led to her intrinsic understanding of the world around her, and her place in it as a part of that larger whole. This understanding was brought home -/literally/- to Freya after returning to Norway from the U.S., where she had studied classical music. She took her life's experiences, mixed them with the forces of nature, and the musical result was what she calls Arctic Pop. Freya Storm channels the coolness of her Arctic roots into music with the message - directly or indirectly, depending on which track you are listening to - that the Arctic environment is vulnerable and must be protected.
