Friday Sydell (born October 2, 1990), is an American recording artist, fashion designer, and pop culture tastemaker. She was born near Wilmington, Delaware and grew up there before moving to Los Angeles. From a young age, Friday always gravitated to music, fashion, and media. She had a strong interest in music since a young age, but made a unique entrance by battle rapping in high school which lead her to gain much notoriety. As Sydell established herself within her community as a musician she developed her own style in writing music, styling & designing. Japanese culture & animation have inspired her aesthetics, while rap & urban culture inspire her sound. Friday Sydell is currently working on a simultaneous release of her music and fashion.
