Formed in October 2011 by Ali Walker and Seb Maletka-Catala, the two initially recorded Green Day covers with Ali playing bass on afterwards for fun - they had other bands and projects to tend to and hence Friday was left alone for a little while. In September 2012, however, Seth Tackaberry joined and the band began to write and rehearse songs - instantly it was clear there was strong musical chemistry in the band! With Ali Walker regularly producing and developing tune after tune the band had a full set by December, and in January released their first EP - for a band of previously no standing at all, the EP was taken incredibly well, racking up over 1000 plays over the following month!! Friday the 13th is well rehearsed, exciting to watch onstage and up-and-coming and ready to explode into the music scene.
