This High Energy Rock cover band from Upstate NY started to take form in the spring of 2007.
The band has already survived three line-up changes that saw it lose two very talented Lead vocalists and the original founding member, a wicked bass player with extreme backing vocalist. How does a band survive that kind of losses and still move forward??? Luck! I have been fortunate to be in the right place at the right time.
The entire premise of Frieda Hammond can be best described, using one word Energy. The band is made up of great individual talents that bring raw energy and musicianship that rivals any band in the area. This band only covers tunes that are high energy and melodic that promote movement on the dance floor. The audience comes first. It has to rock!!! Bands like Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, Our Lady Peace, Hoobastank are covered.....
Frieda will hit the clubs the Fall of 2007. We hope to see you out there, Friends of Frieda.
