Friends Of Mine

Friends Of Mine are a Sydney/Melbourne-based Indie/Electronic duo, comprising of Jono Fernandez and Tim Watson. A collaboration by default rather than design, the outfit met through a mutual friend and were forced to tackle and master the teething problems that come with all new musical partnerships – particularly when both artists come from conflicting music disciplines.
Whilst Fernandez has enjoyed his own music career in the realm of electronic dance music, Watson’s background is heavily grounded in guitar-driven pop/rock. The marriage of the two distinctively different sounds has created an immeasurably cool and interestingly diverse sound.
