Bio
Courtney Friskco was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. Courtney was born into a music orientated family. As a little boy Courtney was inspired by his father Disco Friskco, and his older brother DJ Frisk. At an influential age of 14,and with the encouragement of his parents, Courtney took to the music scene with the moniker ''DJ Kid Frisk". Inspired by his father he was able to master the turntables,mixing oldies such as black sheep and KRS-ONE. Instantly realizing his ability to entertain he was ready to do what he enjoyed doing. He began to DJ at house parties, block parties, and local high schools. He then started to make mixtapes which were sold in store fronts in all 5 boroughs. In early 2000, witnessing his creative potential beginning to grow, he relocated to Harlem and started producing under the new moniker ''FriskTrackz.'' Rick Ruben, Swizz beatz, and DJ Premier all inspired him to produce his own tracks. Frisk has gone to work with underground/ upcoming Rap/R&B artist such as Essence Rap Diva,Rich Kid Himself,Fresh Jacobs,Mr I Got It & More. FRISKTRACKZ is still on the rising.
