The best kept secret in music

Kelly: Hello, Colin how about you tell our readers a little about your part in From Here On After?
Colin: Well, I'm the bassist and manager for the band. I take care of all the stupid aspects of it, as well as setting down the super smooth bass licks and over all, the ladies love me.

Kelly: Oh so you are the ladies man of the band?
Colin: Actually no, which kind of sucks. Josh would by far have to be the ladies man. He is quite attractive and works out on a regular basis. We did this one show where he got like, completely mobbed by teenage girls and I swear we didn't see him for like 30 minutes. It was funny, he started signing things out of his wallet and giving them to these kids, including his FULL subway card. That's truly caring.

Kelly: So how long has From Here On After been together?
Colin: A little over a year now.

Kelly: What are the age ranges of the guys in From Here On After?
Colin: We're all 17 or 18, and 2 of us are very available.

Kelly: Oh? And which two would that be?
Colin: Matt (our drummer) and Vince (our singer). Josh and I are taken.

Kelly: How did you guys decided on the name From Here On After?
Colin: Because we found it to be a good name to go along with our ambitions. We've decided we aren't going to quit and were going to be doing this from here on after.

Kelly: Who would you say are/were the main influences for you and your band mates?
Colin: Blink-182 (sadly broken up), Fall out Boy, Rufio, The Starting Line, Finch, and any other music we've come across.

Kelly: So you guys are planning a cd correct?
Colin: Yep. We are almost done recording now at JBG studios in Palatine, IL. We expect it should be out by the end of the month, or into mid April

Kelly: What should fans expect on this cd?
Colin: A much more mature and better sound overall. We've done a lot since our first release and we expect some great results.

Kelly: What is your favorite song to play live and why?
Colin: One of our songs that will be coming up on our new cd. Its titled Shireland. I always love to play it, cause its one of our more metal influenced songs and people always go crazy during it. Its so full of energy and it offers a great connection to our audience.

Kelly: Does From Here On After have any plans for a big tour yet?
Colin: We're planning to tour in summer 2006. The big question is if school will allow it. All of our members will be hitting the books, so if were all free come summer, its tour time.

Kelly: Thank you and I hope to catch one of your shows soon.

Feeling a bit camera shy

From Here On After is a high-powered emo pop-punk band out of the heartlands of Illinois. Our songs are full of energy and honesty. Our unique edge comes from a combination of multiple music tastes as well as teenage angst. We seek to be the best band out of the Chicago area, and we will stop at nothing to fulfull this.

We started the band in Matt's brother's room because we had nothing better to do. After our great success at our first few shows, weve taken off into both the Chicago and Rockford areas. Every show we played weve made countless fans and continue to see familiar and new faces at every one of our shows.
