Bio

As described above, we are a brother sister acoustic duo. We take influences from a variety of places, from bands ranging over 60 years. Our main influences come from guitarists such as Hank Marvin and a lot of bands from that era. We love mixing the past with the present, as we believe that the music from the 50's was fun, upbeat and heartfelt... that's what we intend to bring back!
We both play electric and acoustic guitar but usually gig acoustically. As well as guitars, I (Rebecca) can also play piano, keyboard, ukulele and clarinet, while Callum can also play Mandolin.
We formed back in April 2011, when we were asked by a close friend to perform for a charity night for Ashgate Hospice. Since then we have played all over the country, including Rescue Rooms Nottingham, The Hop Sheffield, and The Worlds End (Finsbury Park), London. Rebecca also has residency at Pumpernickels in Nottingham on a Monday.
We are completely different to other bands simply because of our style... a lot of people think we're just covering 50's songs when infact, they are our own songs but with a modern vocal twist and guitar riffs. That is why we are set apart from other bands at the moment, we haven't gigged with anyone whose had the same sounds as us.
