From The Ashes

Since FROM THE ASHES formed in 2008, and with its first solid lineup in 2009, we have evolved as people and musicians. Despite this short amount of time since the bands conception, we have overcome many hardships and adversities to become a band that will make an impact. These real-life situations and obstacles have influenced us to write music with a message that we want to share, in hopes of unifying those who embrace the message. All 5 members have formed a close friendship, whose goal is just to have fun and make music to share with people, and to restore the energy, spirit, attitudes, and sound that has been lost in the music scene, while meeting some great bands, awesome people, and having some great times. We have shared the stage with many talented bands, and look forward to doing so in the future, and hope to bring back a sense of unification through our music, through our music and messages and to dismiss the need of casting others out and looking down on others. Whether it be the metal scene or the hardcore scene, we urge people to support music and to embrace all forms, because music brings emotion, relationships, and friendships that can never be duplicated elsewhere. In 2009, we hope to continue make an impact with the release of our first ep PERDITION consisting of 6 songs, which was recorded over 5 days in March, blending together brutal breakdowns, catchy chorus', and hardcore and metal riffs alike. With a 2009 summer tour to kick off the beginning of what will be a long and prosperous run, we look forward to continuing the journey and hoping to inspire those around us, and bring back a genre that long ago was lost among the sea of imitators. From the Ashes is here to make a change.
